Andy John Bradford

By Andy

I have been writing and performing for as long as I can remember. To be honest I love music, I find it relaxing, emotional, bitter/sweet and something to fill all my moods. I always have a tune in my head, if not my own then a mix of all my favourite songs
I have written for some of the best artists around over the years but as my dear wife will tell you my main passion is for my own music written for me to sing. There is always a buzz whether I write for you or for me but the joy of putting down a song of crafting it and ultimately to perform it has nothing else to beat it.
My new Album, Join the Dance is a collection of my thoughts blended with celtic styles and a host of some of the best musicians in the world. Produced by the great Vinnie James, I think you will find it pleasing to the ear as well as an emotional journey.
Always working on one thing or another, Andy John Bradford has his hand in music almost 24 hours a day. Working with bands, soloists and working on his music things could be looking up for the possible overnight success with over 30 years in the business. He is currently working on new material and you can expect to see him on the road this summer at various folk clubs in the country.
Award winning songs such as “Hero” and “Northern Rose” and “Sails off the Bay” feature heavily in people’s favourite top ten songs, which for a man who has not really promoted himself too much is quite an achievement. Watch this space is something his daughter says. Maybe you should...
